Quiet Colorful Conures. No Green Cheeks are not noisy. Less Noisy than cockatiels, Yes they make great pets for families, Yes they are good with kids, No it does't matter if you get a male or female, Yes they can learn to talk, Yes they eat like a parrot using a foot to grasp their food. They act like little Monkeys swinging by one foot from their cage and toys. They are very smart and can escape their cage if not secure. They are very active little Birds and now come in multiple colors that are very striking. If you don't own one of these little parrots you don't know what your missing :O)
